Store Tours

Purpose:
To give students experiences in the "real" world so that they can see how a restaurant operates and what our employees do during the day.
Students will be allowed to view a variety of items in the store as well as meet employees.
Students can be any age, as long as the teacher or faculty feel that the students can be well behaved during the tour. We ask that all students are accompanied by an adequate number of adults.
Teachers and store employees can work together to make the tour more interesting. This can be done several ways. For instance, host an alphabet tour; ask students to point out something in the store for every letter in the alphabet. A math tour can also be arranged. In this case, the employee can show the students how to weigh something on a scale, count money or count product.
For more information about store tours please call your local Runza® Restaurant or the Marketing Department at the Runza® National office at 402-423-2394.
