WAYNE RUNZA® RESTAURANT EARNS TOP HONORS

Lincoln, NE - The Wayne Runza® Restaurant was recently awarded four of the chain's highest honors at the company's annual meeting.

The location earned second place in the "Most Improved Store Profit" and first place in the "Store of the Year" award in basic sales volume category. The awards are presented to a Runza® Restaurant location that is well managed, has shown a sales increase from the previous year, as well as an increase in profitability.

Sheri Dahlgren, former manager of the Wayne location and current manager at the Norfolk location, was awarded the Manager of the Year award in basic sales volume category. The store's success is largely based on Sheri's superior management skills, as well as her dedication to her work. This award is given to Runza® managers who operate a clean and organized store. The recipient of the award must also be a motivational force to store employees, thus maintaining a low personnel turnover and recruiting future management candidates. Sheri will enjoy an all expense paid trip for two to West Palm Beach, Florida for this honor.

Toni Schrant earned the Assistant Manager of the Year award for 2002. This award is given to Runza® assistant managers who possess a positive and supportive attitude and will go above and beyond the call of duty. Toni will also receive an all expense paid trip for two to Copper Mountain, Colorado for this honor. Toni was recently named the General Manager of the Wayne location.
