GRAND ISLAND SOUTH RUNZAŽ RESTAURANT EARNS TOP HONORS

The Grand Island South RunzaŽ Restaurant was recently awarded one of the chain's highest honors at the company's annual meeting.

The location earned second place in the "Highest Store Evaluation Score" award in 2002. This award is presented to a RunzaŽ Restaurant location that have had two excellent store evaluations. Store evaluations include all aspects of the business including speed, accuracy, quality of product, cleanliness of the store as well as recruiting and training of employees. All 66 stores in the chain compete for this award. Amy Peterson is the manager of the store.

The store also had the lowest percentage of employee turnover throughout 2002. The "Lowest Labor Turnover" award is presented to the location with the best employee retention.

RunzaŽ Restaurants - famous for the OvenStuff'dŽ Sandwich with its delicious blend of ground beef, cabbage, onions and secret spices baked inside homemade bread; fresh ground hamburgers; and onion rings - operates and franchises 66 restaurants in Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado and Iowa.
