RunzaŽ Restaurants: Over $15,000 Raised for Hurricane Relief

Monday, September 19th - Sunday, October 2nd, staff at all RunzaŽ Restaurant locations encouraged customers to "Round Up for Hurricane Relief." The donation to the American Red Cross totaled $15,882.78.

"We encouraged everyone to show their support for the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts. The staff sincerely appreciates the willingness of customers to donate and achieve such a wonderful result," said Donald Everett, Jr., President of RunzaŽ National. RunzaŽ kicked off the fundraiser by donating the $5,000 received for winning the 2005 National Restaurant Association Good Neighbor Award.

RunzaŽ Restaurants - famous for RunzaŽ's Sandwich with its delicious blend of ground beef, cabbage, onions and secret spices baked inside homemade bread; made-to-order burgers; and onion rings - operates and franchises 69 restaurants in Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Kansas.
