Ž Restaurants to help New York Relief Efforts


LINCOLN - On Friday, Saturday and Sunday (September 28th-30th), RunzaŽ Restaurants across the state will be donating $1 per Meal Deal combo purchased to the Widows and Children's Fund of the New York City Fire Department.

Fire trucks and representatives from the Lincoln Fire Department will be at the following RunzaŽ Restaurant locations from 11:30-1:00pm on Saturday, September 29th to take additional donations.Belmont (11th and Cornhusker), 13th and E, 27th and Pine Lake, 27th and Superior, 33rd and Highway 2, 56th and Holdrege, 70th and Van Dorn, 84th and Holdrege, Edgewood (56th and Highway 2), 1240 West O.

"We encourage Nebraskans to show their support for the victims of the recent tragedy through this effort," said Donald Everett, Jr., President. Vice President Renee Sjulin is confident RunzaŽ Restaurants will be able to donate a significant amount of money to the fund.

RunzaŽ Restaurants - famous for the RunzaŽ Sandwich with its delicious blend of ground beef, cabbage, onions and secret spices baked inside homemade bread; fresh ground hamburgers; and onion rings - operates and franchises 63 locations in Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, South Dakota and Iowa.
