General Manager

A General Manager is responsible for every aspect of their store's operation. Such as: bookkeeping, scheduling, inventory control, inventory, training, hiring, motivating employees, enforcing policy, customer relations, cleanliness of the store, quality of all food products and service, etc. A General Manager is responsible for all money in and made by the store's operations. A General Manager must be proficient at all food preparation and customer service positions. Good physical stamina is essential due to the number of working hours and the type of work expected of a manager.

Schedule: A General Manager must be dependable, reliable and available to his/her store. A General Manager is required to work whatever hours are necessary to manage his/her store properly, which may include a variety of shifts and hours.

A General Manager’s total compensation package ranges from $23,000 - $67,000 annually, and includes the following benefits:
  • Almost all Runza® Managers own 2% - 40% of their stores, resulting in increased income and job satisfaction!
