2nd Assistant Manager
General Summary: A Second
Assistant Manager or trainee is responsible for performing
the duties delegated to them by the General Manager
and First Assistant Manager. These duties may include,
but are not limited to: managing shifts, closing/opening
the store, bookkeeping, scheduling, interviewing,
hiring, and training new employees, motivating employees,
enforcing store policy, customer relations, cleanliness
of the store, and quality of all food products and
service. A Second Assistant manager must be proficient
at ALL food preparation and customer service positions.
Good physical stamina is essential due to the number
of working hours expected and the type of work performed.
Schedule: A Second Assistant Manager works at least 30 hours per week, and is available to work a variety of shifts. Hours and days worked may vary from week-to-week as the needs of the store change.
A 2nd Assistant Managers total compensation
package ranges up to and over $26,400 annually based
on an average of 40 hours per week although 2nd Assistant
Managers are only required to work 30 hours per week.
